SCENE 01 When should I arrive?
We recommend arriving by Saturday evening if you can. If you’re flying in on Sunday, please plan extra buffer time—Puerto Rico traffic and airport timelines can be unpredictable.
SCENE 02 What time should I be at the ceremony?
Please arrive by 2:45 PM. The ceremony will begin promptly at 3:00 PM.
SCENE 03 Are kids invited?
We love your little ones, but this will be an adults-only celebration unless your invitation specifically includes children.
SCENE 04 Can I bring a plus one?
We’re keeping things intimate. Please refer to the name(s) listed on your invitation/RSVP. If you’re unsure, reach out to us.
SCENE 05 Is transportation provided between the hotel and the church?
Yes. Transportation to and from Parroquia La Resurrección from Aloft Ponce Hotel & Casino will be provided. Please refer to the schedule for details.
SCENE 06 What’s the best way to contact you?
A quick text is perfect. If it’s urgent on the wedding day, reach out to our coordinator listed on the Schedule page.
SCENE 07 What is the dress code?
Black Tie. Tux or dark suit for men, and a floor-length formal dress for women.
SCENE 08 It’s Puerto Rico—any tips for staying comfortable?
Yes—Puerto Rico is very warm in the summer. Choose breathable fabrics and comfortable shoes.
SCENE 09 What colors should I avoid wearing?
Please avoid white, ivory, champagne, or anything that reads as bridal.
SCENE 10 Where should I park?
If you’re driving, use the parking available at each venue. If you’re staying at the hotel, we recommend using the provided transportation when available.
SCENE 11 Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?
The ceremony will be in the church. The reception will be at Aloft Ponce Hotel & Casino. Expect indoor spaces with air-conditioning.
SCENE 12 What is the best airport to fly into?
Most guests fly into Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport (SJU). Mercedita Airport (PSE) is closest to Ponce when flights are available.
SCENE 13 Do you have a hotel block?
Yes—there is a room block at Aloft Ponce Hotel & Casino. Please check the Travel page for details and the reservation link.
SCENE 14 What time does the reception start?
5:00 PM. If you’re taking the provided transportation, please be ready a little early so we can keep everything on schedule.
SCENE 15 Will there be food and drinks?
Yes—come hungry. Dinner and drinks will be served, and we promise it’ll be worth it.
SCENE 16 Can I take photos during the ceremony?
We kindly ask that you keep phones put away during the ceremony so everyone can be fully present. Afterward—take all the photos you want.
